Due To An Over Whelming Response

The Pumpkin Tree Annex-Redwood City
An additional facility has been added. We are located at the juncture of Atherton, Menlo Park and Redwood City. Take Highway 101 to the Woodside Road/ Highway 84 exit.
Immediately turn left onto Broadway and follow that to Fifth AVenue. Turn right onto Fifth and go about 10 blocks. We are across the street from a big Baptist Church.

The program is college preparatory and has all the subjects for grades K through 12. Class size is about 10 students to 1 teacher at most.
Students are grouped according to age and coursework, so sometimes a third grader with a third grade math book is working alongside a fourth grader with a fourth grade math book. The positive result of that is a younger student will learn material from the older student's work. There is usually have at least one goat or other animal onsite and we take field trips to the ranch.

Daily Activities & Sessions Schedule

Age Range ---From 4 to 17.

Activities:

Each day regular classes are held. Math and English are taught in the mornings and science, art, P. E. in afternoons. Science consists of agricultural science and horticulture. Students work in the garden. They get to raise an animal A great experience for fun and learning.

We make an effort to offer an activity each day to either watch or try. For example, goat bathing or feet trimming.

The ranch is somewhat of a nature preserve as we don't spray or use any chemicals. Wildlife abounds. We have quail, red-tailed hawk, many other birds, skunk, deer, raccoon, bobcat, garter snakes, etc. Most of the time the animals hide, but they show themselves now and then.
